DPDP Act 2023 sets new rules
That is why India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023 has been made. This Act applies to schools, edtech companies and all institutions handling children’s data. According to the information, under this law, before processing the data of children under 18 years of age, it is necessary to verify it and take permission from the parents of the children. Apart from this, children’s data can be used only for a specific purpose. Besides, using children for promotion and their digital tracking is also banned.
