The Ministry of Education of the Government of India is continuously working to give a new identity to the youth of the country, new innovations and startups in the whole world. In this series, a very special ‘road-show’ was organized in Paris, the capital of France, to connect the country’s promising startups and universities with foreign investors. This road-show was mainly a part of the preparation for the international event named ‘Bharat Innovates 2026’. Let us know what is this entire program and how will India benefit from it?
What is Bharat Innovates 2026?
‘Bharat Innovates’ is a global summit, which will be held in the beautiful city of Nice, France from 14 to 16 June 2026. Its aim is to connect India’s ‘deep-tech startups’ (new companies working in depth on science and technology) and universities with big investors, international companies and foreign research institutes from around the world. This is a platform where the youth of the country will present their brilliant ideas and new technology to the world. At the same time, foreign investors will provide money and necessary support to make their business bigger.

The journey from ‘lab to market’

This program will also have the facility of one-to-one meetings between investors and startups, which will make the investment process easier and faster.
How did it start?
Let us tell you that the foundation of this initiative was started by PM Modi on 17 February 2026 in the presence of the President of France, ‘India-France Innovation Year’. ‘Bharat Innovates’ was also announced on the same day.
