Kohli made another record as soon as he scored his 12th run at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This was his 8000th IPL run while playing in India. With this he became the first batsman in India to complete 8000 IPL runs. Kohli was out after scoring 28 runs in this match.
