IRCTC Panch Mahatirth Darshan Yatra 2026: If you want to visit five major pilgrimage sites of the country in one trip, then IRCTC has brought a special religious tour for you. This Panch Mahatirtha Darshan Yatra, being organized through Bharat Gaurav Special Tourist Train, will take the passengers to Jagannath Puri, Kamakhya, Gaya, Kashi and Ayodhya. This journey will start from 29th August 2026 and will continue till 10th September 2026 and will be for a total of 12 nights and 13 days.

Where will the train run from?

This special train will leave from Rajkot and passengers will be able to board it from many stations on the way including Surendranagar, Viramgam, Sabarmati Junction, Nadiad, Anand, Chhayapuri, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Ujjain and Sant Hirdaram Nagar. During the yatra, arrangements have been made to allow the devotees to visit major religious and historical places. The first major stop of the journey will be Puri in Odisha. Here devotees will visit Lord Jagannath temple. Apart from this, there will also be an opportunity to visit Puri Beach and local market. Next day, we will visit the world famous Konark Sun Temple and Lingaraj Temple located in Bhubaneswar.

Darshan will be held here in Assam and Bihar

After Odisha, the train will reach Guwahati in Assam, where devotees will visit Shaktipeeth Maa Kamakhya Temple. Adequate time has been kept in the itinerary for special darshan at Kamakhya temple, so that travelers can also participate in religious rituals. After Guwahati, the yatra will reach Gaya and Bodhgaya in Bihar. Here you will be given darshan of Mahabodhi Temple, Huge Buddha Statue, Vishnupad Temple and Maa Sarvamangala Gauri Shaktipeeth. These places related to Buddhism and Hinduism are considered to have special religious importance.

After this the devotees will reach Varanasi, where they will get the opportunity to visit Baba Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Maa Annapurna Temple. The spiritual experience of Ganga Ghat will also be an important part of this journey. After Varanasi, the yatra will reach Ayodhya, where Ram Janmabhoomi temple and Hanumangarhi will be visited.

How much will it cost and facilities?

Booking facility is available for travel in Sleeper, 3 AC and 2 AC categories. The fare for sleeper class has been fixed at Rs 24,200, for 3 AC at Rs 40,100 and for 2 AC at Rs 49,500 per person. The package includes facilities like train travel, hotel accommodation, pure vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner, bottled water daily, local transport, tour escort, security personnel and travel insurance. However, entry fees to monuments, special darshan tickets, personal expenses, guide fees and other personal services will not be part of the package.
