New Delhi. Fans are eagerly waiting for the match between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League 2026. Everyone has to watch the clash between young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi and experienced bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Former Australian captain Aaron Finch has told how Mumbai Indians and Jasprit Bumrah can stop Vaibhav Suryavanshi in their match against Rajasthan Royals. In match number 13 of IPL 2026, the teams of Mumbai and Rajasthan will face each other at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Tuesday. Suryavanshi can prove to be a big threat to the five-time champion team.
Suryavanshi played once against Mumbai last season. Deepak Chahar, who had played under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni in Chennai Super Kings, had dismissed him on zero. Bumrah was also there in that match but he did not get a chance to bowl to this Rajasthan batsman. This young player of Rajasthan Royals has made a great start to the season. Vaibhav has scored 83 runs at a strike rate of 237.14. Finch believes that Bumrah should target Suryavanshi with full length balls in the beginning with the new ball. One should try to get them out using light swing.

How will Vaibhav face Bumrah?
Finch believes that Suryavanshi’s strategy against Bumrah will not change much. No matter how strong the team is in front. He said that this 15 year old player has already shown a fearless game against any bowling attack. Finch said that the natural game of this young player is based on freedom and aggression, which makes him special at such a young age.
Finch said, “I don’t think it matters how he plays against them. It is very unique when you see a 15-year-old player. He is still in his early teens, so it is really fantastic. Bumrah is a brilliant bowler, he has plans and tricks for every batsman. Suryavanshi’s ability to take on any bowling attack right from the start is very special. It is amazing to see such a young kid playing so freely,” Finch said.
