68 runs in 14 balls! Ishan Kishan created chaos with fours and sixes, a storm came in front of Vaibhav’s team

New Delhi. Ishan Kishan created a stir with his stormy batting in the match against Rajasthan Royals. In the 21st match of IPL 2026, the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 68 runs with only fours and sixes. At the team’s home ground, Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Ishan Kishan defeated the Rajasthan bowlers and scored a half-century in 30 balls. He looked more aggressive as soon as he completed his fifty. However, he became a victim of the nervous nineties. On his personal score of 91 runs, he was caught out by experienced bowler Sandeep Sharma on his own ball. Even though Ishan missed his century, he blew away Rajasthan Royals with his explosive performance in 44 balls.

After losing the toss, Sunrisers team came to bat first. The team got a big blow in the form of Abhishek Sharma on the very first ball of the innings. Ishan Kishan, who came at number three, played some attractive shots and took over the innings along with Travis Head, but Head was also out after scoring 18 runs. After this Ishaan completed his half-century in 30 balls. Ishaan completed his fifty with a six. Till his half-century, he hit 5 sixes and two fours.

Victim of nervous nineties
After reaching half-century, Ishaan started batting in top gear. He brought himself close to a century by hitting a line of fours and sixes in the 11th and 13th overs. However, he became a victim of nervous nineties in the 14th over. Ishaan had to return to the pavilion after scoring 91 runs because Sandeep Sharma took an excellent catch.
