Many great all-rounders have played in the history of the Indian Premier League so far. There are many big names in the list but there are only three players in whose name the feat of taking a hat-trick along with scoring a century is recorded. The amazing thing is that Rohit Sharma's name is also included in it.

New Delhi. A player who shows strong performance with both bat and ball is considered the most important in either. A true all-rounder in the team is always a useful option in the playing eleven. There have been many great all-rounders in the history of the Indian Premier League. There are only three players in this list who have both a century and a hat-trick in their names. The unique feat of achieving both a century and a hat-trick in the tournament, which only three players have done so far.
Rohit Sharma: Rohit has made this unique record by scoring one hat-trick and two centuries. While playing for Deccan Chargers against Mumbai Indians in IPL 2009, he took a hat-trick by dismissing three batsmen consecutively with his off-spin bowling. In that match, Rohit took two wickets on the last two balls of the 15th over and then took the third wicket on the first ball of the 17th over. Abhishek Nair, Harbhajan Singh and Jean-Paul Duminy became victims of the brilliant bowling of the current Indian captain.
Rohit Sharma has scored two centuries in the history of the tournament. His first century came against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2012 (109 not out) and his second century came against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in 2024 by scoring 105 not out.
Shane Watson: The former Australian all-rounder has scored four centuries and taken one hat-trick in the IPL. Playing for Rajasthan Royals (RR) against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in IPL 2014, Watson dismissed Shikhar Dhawan in the opening over of the first innings, on the last ball of the fourth over. Then while bowling in the last part of the innings, he dismissed Moises Henriques and Karn Sharma.
Watson has scored two centuries each for both Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings. He scored his first century in IPL 2013 by playing an inning of 101 runs for Rajasthan Royals against Chennai Super Kings. After this he played an unbeaten inning of 104 runs for Rajasthan Royals against KKR. The remaining two centuries came in the 2015 and 2018 seasons for Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings.
Sunil Narine: The West Indies all-rounder has taken a hat-trick and also scored a century in the history of IPL. Narayan took his only hat-trick for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) against Punjab Kings (PBKS). He dismissed David Hussey, Azhar Mahmood and Gurkeerat Singh Mann consecutively and finished the match with figures of 3/33 in four overs.
His first and only century in IPL came against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024. He played an inning of 109 runs in just 56 balls against Rajasthan franchise.
