New Delhi. Many wonderful records have been made in Test cricket, but there are some miracles which make a very special place in history. Scoring 100 runs and also taking 10 wickets in a single match is such a rare feat that not every player can achieve it. The surprising thing is that in the long history of world cricket, till now only four players have been able to achieve this unique record. What is also interesting is that not a single Indian player is included in this special list, whereas one Pakistani player has definitely been successful in registering his name. Let us end the suspense and tell you about the four players.
For the first time in 149 years of Test history, this happened for the first time in 1960, when a player took 10 wickets and also scored 100 runs in the same Test match. Australian all-rounder Alan Davidson accomplished this. In the match against West Indies, Davidson took 11 wickets while bowling, while he also scored 124 runs while batting. His best score in the match was 80 runs, while his best performance in bowling was taking 6 wickets for 87 runs. He opened his claws in the first innings also. However, this match held in Brisbane was a tie.

Exactly 20 years later, this feat was repeated again by England all-rounder Ian Botham. Botham achieved the feat of 10 wickets and 100 runs in the match against India. In this match played at Wankhede, this former England all-rounder scored a century and played an innings of 114 runs. At the same time, he performed brilliantly in bowling and opened his claws in both the innings. He took 6 wickets in the first innings and destroyed India's batting order by taking 7 wickets in the second innings. In this way he took 13 wickets in the match. Due to his all-round performance, England won the match by 10 wickets.
The great all-rounder of Pakistan is the third cricketer to make this record. Imran did this against India in 1983. In the test match played in Faisalabad, Imran had scored 117 runs in the first innings, on the basis of which Pakistan put a huge score of 682 runs on the board. At the same time, Imran took a total of 11 wickets in both the innings. By taking 6 wickets in the first innings and 5 wickets in the second innings, he played an important role in Pakistan's victory by 10 wickets by defeating India cheaply.
The legendary all-rounder of Bangladesh is the fourth player included in this list. In 2014, he scored 143 runs in the match against Zimbabwe and also took 10 wickets. This test match played in Khulna was won by Bangladesh by 162 runs. Shakib batted strongly and scored 137 runs in the first innings. While bowling, he opened his claws in both the innings. Shakib took 5-5 wickets in both the innings.
