This label will come for AI-generated content
According to media reports, ‘AI Creator’ label may soon come on Instagram. This label will be given to those accounts which mostly post AI generated or AI edited content. This will be visible on the creator’s profile as well as his reels and posts. With this, the user will know that the content he is watching has been generated by AI. This will be different from the already existing AI Info Badge on Instagram. The AI Info badge means that a post may have used AI tools.
How will the label affect the creator?
Meta said that using this label will not affect any account or content. It has been designed for transparency. All accounts that post AI content should add this label to their accounts. Let us tell you that this label will be completely optional. If a creator does not want to show himself as an AI creator, then he will also have the option not to add the label. This means that AI creators can continue to post content as before, even without using labels.
Label may become necessary in future
Currently work on this label is going on and there is no strict meta on its use. The company has not made it mandatory yet, but considering the speed at which AI content is increasing, it is believed that Meta may impose strict rules regarding labels. If this happens then it will be necessary for the creator to show this label.
