Justice Swarn Kanta Sharma is originally from Delhi. His education also took place in Delhi. He did B.A. in English Literature from the famous Daulat Ram College of Delhi University. Did honours. She was so promising during her college days that she got the title of “Best All-Rounder Student” of the year. He was fond of literature, but he had an equally deep understanding of law in his heart.
In the year 1991, he completed his LLB studies. After this, he continued his studies and obtained LLM degree in the year 2004. His passion for studies did not stop here. After a long research, he got the PhD degree in the year 2025. His research topic was judicial education, in which he studied the judicial system of countries like UK, USA, Singapore and Canada. Not only this, he also has a diploma in Marketing Management and Advertising.

Became a magistrate at the age of 24
The most special thing about Justice Sharma’s career is that he got big responsibilities at a young age. She became a magistrate at the age of just 24. This is considered a big achievement in itself. Seeing her working style and the seriousness of her decisions, when she turned 35, she was promoted to the post of Sessions Judge.
Hearing in many big cases
In his career spanning more than three decades, he worked in many important courts of Delhi. As a special judge of CBI, he heard cases related to corruption. While being the Principal Judge of the Family Court, she played an important role in resolving family disputes. While serving in Mahila Adalat and POCSO Court, she adopted a strict stance on matters related to women and children. In March 2022, she was appointed as a permanent judge of Delhi High Court. Before this, she was working as Principal District and Sessions Judge in Rouse Avenue Court.
How much salary do you get?
As a judge of Delhi High Court, her salary is considered to be around Rs 2.25 lakh per month. Apart from this, they also get other allowances and government accommodation. But their identity is not just by their salary or position, but by their experience and work.
