Govinda said, ‘I struggled for 14 years and after that I came into films again. This time it has happened that I could not wait much longer than 5 years. I said I would start.
He further said, ‘When I used to say in the village that I will become a hero, people used to laugh at me. Why do you look like a hero? Neither cigarette, nor alcohol, nor non-veg, nor garlic, nor onion. Where will such a hero come from? So people used to say that due to fear he would become a saint somewhere. I did whatever my mother thought. Now I felt that it is very important for children that such films should come. Children came forward.

He was in a double role in the film. This film flopped badly.
In personal life, Govinda was married to Sunita Ahuja. They are the parents of two children, a daughter and a son. Recently Sunita was seen in the show ‘Lockup’.
