He told that last year i.e. in the financial year 2025-26, the company had given jobs to 44,000 new graduates. This is one of the biggest recruitments done by any private company in a year. He told that for the last three years, TCS has been giving opportunities to more than 40,000 freshers every year. This time the offer has been given to 25,000 freshers and the company can also add more people.

The news of layoff of about 12,000 employees in the last financial year had created a lot of discussion. On this, Kritivasan said that for employees doing good work, there are long term career opportunities in the company. He clarified that this layoff was not directly related to Artificial Intelligence i.e. AI. TCS believes that it is better to prepare new youth from the beginning. After joining the company, freshers are given training for about nine months. Experienced people can start work immediately, but the company prepares the freshers as per their needs by giving them training.
