Sri Lanka A captain Sahan Arachchige believes that the incident that happened in the Super Over is normal because players are unable to control their emotions in such a tense match.

New Delhi: The final match of the triangular series between India A and Sri Lanka will be played on Sunday, June 21. Both the teams will enter Dambulla Cricket Stadium for this match. India A and Sri Lanka are going to face each other for the third time in the series. In the earlier league match, Sri Lanka had defeated India A in the Super Over. There was a lot of chaos with Vaibhav Suryavanshi in this super over. At the same time, now Sri Lanka A captain Sahan Arachchige has given a big statement on this entire matter.
The captain of Sri Lanka A has said that his team will not target Vaibhav Suryavanshi during the final match of the tri-series against India A on Sunday. Sri Lanka A has confirmed its place in the title match against India A by defeating Afghanistan A by 103 runs. Arachchige also talked about the on-field altercation with Suryavanshi during the last match and called it a normal thing in a tense match.
There was a clash between Vaibhav and Super Over
Let us tell you that while chasing 14 runs on the last three balls of the Super Over, Vaibhav Suryavanshi was not able to lead his team to victory and he had a heated argument with the Sri Lanka A players which ended with him pushing Vishen Halambage.
However, Arachchige made it clear that his team has moved on from this incident. Speaking to Sportstar, the Sri Lanka A captain said, “The boys are not targeting anyone or anything. We are just enjoying our game. In a close match like a Super Over, emotions come out. It is normal.”
