Farah revealed that when she was 16 years old and Bobby Deol was 17 years old, they had an innocent crush. This is about 40 years old. After this, discussions about their affair started in the media and film circles.

We used to hold each other’s hands…
In a conversation with Vicky Lalwani, Farah said, ‘I had a huge crush on Bobby. He had a crush on me. We both liked each other very much. There was nothing more than that. We used to hold each other’s hands. Used to write letters to each other. We were childhood sweethearts. That was all there was to the relationship. There was no such thing as dating in those days. I was 16 years old and Bobby was 17. At that time we were very innocent.
Farah Ali Khan is a friend of Bobby Deol’s wife
Farah further said, ‘Today these things are seen very differently. This story is 40 years old. Now things have changed. Today Bobby is one of my very close friends. I am also very close to his wife Tanya. They are like my family to me. I am ready to do anything for both of them. I’m so happy that Bobby and Tanya chose each other. They look perfect together.

In the same interview, Farah also put an end to the rumors which claimed that Farah and Bobby broke up because of Bollywood actress Neelam Kothari. He said, ‘Absolutely not. Neelam is my very good friend. Neelam came into Bobby’s life after me. I am still close to Neelam. There is no truth in breakup stories.
