Gujarat Titans fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has come into the news for a wrong reason. This time, the reason for his being in the news is not because of bowling the ball at high speed or scattering the wickets, rather he has been seen smoking a cigarette. A video is going viral on social media, in which it is being claimed that Rabada is smoking. However, no one’s face is clearly visible in the video.
Smoking cigarette is not against cricket rules, but Rabada is being heavily criticized for it. A debate has erupted among the people and some people accused Rabada of flouting professionalism. Especially because being an excellent international fast bowler, people look at him as a role model.

Well, it is not clear from the video whether the person smoking the cigarette is Kagiso Rabada or not. But Rabada has been the target of anti-doping agencies before also. It was only last year when South Africa’s anti-doping agency had banned Rabada for one month. For this reason, he left the IPL 2025 season midway and returned home. He returned to IPL after missing some matches.
