Morne Morkel’s big statement regarding Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s debut.

New Delhi. Cricket fans and experts around the world are desperate to see Vaibhav Suryavanshi playing in Team India’s jersey. This 15 year old young batsman created such a stir with his explosive batting in domestic cricket and IPL that he got a place in India’s T20 team. However, he is not getting a chance to debut, regarding which many veterans are expressing their opinion. After two T20s on Ireland tour, Vaibhav did not get a chance even in the first T20 against England. Now before the second T20 match to be held in Manchester on July 4, all eyes are on whether Vaibhav will debut? Ending the suspense on this, Team India’s bowling coach Morne Morkel has given a big statement.

What did Morkel say about Vaibhav?
Morne Morkel indicated that the team management will not easily drop openers Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma despite talented 15-year-old batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi knocking on the door of the team. In the ongoing T20 series on England tour, Abhishek has scored one half-century and scored 49 runs in the last three innings while Samson has performed disappointingly by scoring five, zero and one runs.

In the press conference held on the eve of the second T20 match, Morkel said, ‘We should respect the fact that we have the number one batsman in T20 cricket in the form of Abhishek Sharma. Whereas Sanju has been a part of the World Cup winning team. He said, ‘Sanju’s performance in IPL was also excellent. In such a situation, it is appropriate to express confidence in the players and support them as a coaching staff. Yes, there is a young player knocking on the door and that is encouraging.

There will be no much tampering with the batting order
Morkel said, ‘I believe that it is a good sign not only for these two players, but for the entire team that we stand with our players and trust them.’ He also clarified that the team management is not in favor of making unnecessary changes in the batting order of the batsmen, especially when they have performed well in the same order earlier.
