New Delhi: 15 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has given his first reaction on his debut for Team India. Vaibhav started his international career against England at the age of 15 years and 99 days. Vaibhav scored 14 runs in his first match. He was stumped by Jos Buttler on the ball of Will Jacques. After the match, Vaibhav shared an emotional post on his debut, which quickly started going viral.

Vaibhav shared a story on his Instagram and wrote, “I am overwhelmed by the messages from all of you. I want to thank my seniors and well-wishers for giving me so much love and support. I am grateful that I have got the opportunity to represent my country. I will always try to give my best for my team. Once again thank you all very much.”

Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s innings limited to 10 balls

In the second match played against England at Old Trafford, Vaibhav Suryavanshi opened the innings for Team India along with Abhishek Sharma. When Vaibhav faced Joffra Archer and hit a six on his first ball, the fans sitting in the stadium jumped to see him. Seeing Vaibhav’s batting, England captain Harry Brook realized that some different tactics would have to be used to stop this 15 year old boy.

What happened next, Harry Brook called the spinner in the fourth over itself. Vaibhav was set at the crease after playing 9 balls, but experienced Will Jacques trapped him with his spin and got him stumped behind the wicket. In this way, Vaibhav’s innings in the debut match was limited to just 10 balls. In this innings he hit a total of 2 sixes.
