Vaibhav, who attacked the opposition bowlers as soon as he entered the field, has proved to be the real ‘box office player’ of this series. In a very important match of the series, Vaibhav Suryavanshi was moving very fast towards his first international century. But on a flighted ball from Zimbabwean bowler Madhevere, Vaibhav moved forward and tried to play a big shot over long-off. The ball went into the air and Brad Evans, who was stationed there, dived forward and took an amazing low catch with both hands.

With this excellent catch, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s dream of scoring a century was shattered by just 19 runs. He returned to the pavilion after playing an explosive inning of 81 runs in 49 balls, in which he hit 8 brilliant fours and 4 skyscraper sixes. His strike rate was 165.31. Even though Vaibhav missed the century, when he was returning after getting out, the spectators present in the stadium and the players of the Indian team gave a standing ovation to the 15-year-old star.

Vaibhav became the first batsman to score two T20 International fifties at the age of 15. In the first T20 International against Zimbabwe, Vaibhav created history by scoring 50 runs in 19 balls. He became the youngest player to score a fifty in T20 International. Now Vaibhav made another record with his second half-century in three matches.
