Tilak Verma gave credit to Rohit Sharma for his century
New Delhi. Tilak Verma on Wednesday said that Rohit Sharma helped him score a century in the IPL and return to form when he advised him not to think too much about the match situation, just play the first 15 to 20 balls. Tilak scored an unbeaten 101 runs as Mumbai Indians defeated Gujarat Titans by 99 runs in their last match and broke the losing streak of four consecutive matches.

Didn’t take pressure from previous matches
Tilak said that after the poor start of the IPL, he did not take any pressure on himself. Before the last match, he had scored 20, 00, 14, 01 and 08 runs. He said, ‘(In the last few matches) I did not get much time on the wicket and I had to hit big shots from the beginning. Tilak said that Suryakumar Yadav, who has scored only one half-century so far in the current IPL, is not far away from playing a big innings.
