Paul Valthaty’s 2011 IPL season was like a dream. While playing for Kings XI Punjab, he created a stir by playing an unbeaten inning of 120 runs in just 63 balls against Chennai Super Kings. In that season, he scored 463 runs in 14 matches and also took 7 wickets. His aggressive batting took him to the doorstep of the Indian team, but due to wrist injury and decline in form, he could never repeat the same performance.
Manvinder Bisla’s name became immortal for the 2012 IPL final. Playing for Kolkata Knight Riders, he played a match-winning inning of 89 runs in 48 balls against Chennai Super Kings in the final.
