Thanks to the lethal bowling of Anshul Kamboj in the last overs, Chennai Super Kings restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad to 194 runs. At one time Sunrisers Hyderabad’s score was 148 runs in 14 overs. It seemed that the team would easily reach 220, but in the last overs, Chennai bowlers bowled lethally. Hyderabad team could score only 194 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs. Sunrisers Hyderabad team could score only 46 runs in the last six overs.
Abhishek Sharma played a brilliant inning of 59 runs in 22 balls for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Whereas Heinrich Klaasen played an inning of 59 runs in 39 balls. However, the rest of the batsmen failed. This was the reason that even after a stormy start, Hyderabad team could not reach the score of 200. Hyderabad had scored 75 runs in the powerplay i.e. in the first six overs. The score in 10 overs was 112 runs, but it did not end the way it started.

Shivang Kumar scored 12 runs in important eight balls. He hit a four and a six.
Jamie Overton took the maximum of three wickets for Chennai Super Kings. Mukesh Chaudhary got two successes. Anshul Kamboj also dismissed three batsmen for just 22 runs.
