Extreme injustice, Team India’s rejected bowler will now give a befitting reply on the field!

Despite taking 60 wickets in the historic Ranji Trophy season, Kashmir fast bowler Aaqib Nabi was ignored in the one-off Test against Afghanistan. After this indifference of the selectors, he now has a golden opportunity to prove himself in the upcoming two-match red ball series against Sri Lanka ‘A’. Playing for India ‘A’ under the captaincy of Dhruv Jurel, Aaqib Nabi would like to strengthen his claim in the senior team for the New Zealand tour by giving a befitting reply to the selectors with his pace.
Aaqib Nabi will play a four-day match against Sri Lanka A from Thursday.
Gaul. The four-day match series between India A vs Sri Lanka A will start from Thursday. If fast bowler Aaqib Nabi and some regular players of the Indian Test team will take the field for India A, then they will have a good opportunity to prove themselves as well as impress the selectors. Nabi’s not being selected for the one-off Test against Afghanistan despite his brilliant performance of taking 60 wickets in Jammu and Kashmir’s historic Ranji Trophy win had raised questions from his supporters and experts.
If his performance on the flat pitches of Sri Lanka is good, it may be difficult for the selectors to keep him away from the national team for a long time. The Indian team also has to play a Test series in New Zealand after Sri Lanka this year, where the conditions will be favorable for Nabi’s bowling.

Fast bowler Gurnoor Brar is also a part of the team. He made his debut for India in ODI against Afghanistan. If he makes an impact here, his chances of retaining his place in the senior team may be strengthened. The captaincy of the team will be in the hands of wicketkeeper-batsman Dhruv Jurel. This series is also considered important for his leadership skills.
This series will also be important for Sai Sudarshan and Devdutt Padikkal, as both the left-handed batsmen will want to strengthen their claim to bat at the third position in the team. Sudarshan was part of the Indian XI against Afghanistan, while Padikkal had to sit out.
Anshul Kamboj, Harsh Dubey and Ruturaj Gaikwad will also have an opportunity to strengthen their claim in the national team from this series.
