Telangana Board of Secondary Education released the Class 10 result on Wednesday (April 29). Girls have once again performed better in these results. A total of 95.15 percent students passed across the state. In these, the passing percentage of girls was 96.26 percent, while the passing percentage of boys was 94.07 percent. In this way, the passing percentage of girls is 2.19 percent more than that of boys.
All the children of 6 schools failed
The result of a total of 5,731 schools in Telangana was 100%. All the students of these schools passed. On the other hand, there were 6 schools where not even a single student passed. The thing to note is that all these six schools are private. It is clear from this that in terms of performance, government and Zilla Parishad (ZP) schools proved to be much better than private schools.
How were the results of government schools?
Among government schools, 65 out of 498 schools have given 100 percent result. Similarly, out of total 4127 ZP schools, 2065 schools have achieved 100% success. These figures are indicating improvement in the government education system.
How were the results in the districts?
Talking about the districts of Telangana, the passing percentage of Mulugu district was 99.30 percent, due to which this district secured the first position in the state. At the same time, the worst performance was from Hyderabad district, where only 89.23 percent candidates could pass. This district of the capital remained at the lowest position.
Education Department gave this information
Education Department officials said that the excellent performance of girls this year is encouraging. Better results in government schools show the success of the government’s policies. On the other hand, the department expressed concern over the zero results of six private schools and asked to review the functioning of such schools. Overall, Telangana 10th class results have proved the progress of girls and the improving image of government schools.
