Suniel Shetty On KL Rahul And ILP Team: Veteran Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty has revealed that he met KL Rahul for the first time as a fan and not as a future son-in-law. He praised Rahul’s simplicity and humility. Regarding IPL, he said that he could have bought the team in 2008, but he is sad that he could not do so. He also revealed the reason behind this.

Although, he could not become a cricketer, but in the year 2023, Indian cricketer KL Rahul definitely became his son-in-law. In a recent interview, Sunil Shetty spoke openly about his first meeting with KL Rahul and the reasons for not buying an IPL team.
In an interview given to Mid-Day, Sunil Shetty said that cricket has always been very close to his heart. He told that before becoming an actor, his dream was to become a cricketer. Sunil Shetty also made a big revelation about IPL during the conversation. He said that when IPL started in 2008, he could have bought a team if he wanted, but at that time he did not have any financier or financial partner.
