At the end of the second day’s play, India had scored 247 runs at the loss of one wicket. Opener Sai Sudarshan scored his second consecutive century. This left-handed batsman is unbeaten after scoring 104 runs in 184 balls with the help of 13 fours. Devdutt Padikal is present at the crease along with Sudarshan.
Padikkal close to century
Padikal is also close to his century. He is playing after scoring 94 runs on 151 balls with the help of 11 fours. So far there has been a partnership of 181 runs between Sudarshan and Padikal. The only blow India has faced is in the form of peace. Mokhade, who came to start the innings with Sudarshan, was out after scoring 38 runs in 48 balls. He hit 6 fours in his innings and made a partnership of 66 runs with Sudarshan for the first wicket.
Sri Lanka bundled out for 366
Earlier, the first innings of Sri Lanka A ended at 366 runs. For Sri Lanka, captain Sahan Arachige scored a brilliant century and scored 127 runs in 207 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 13 fours. Apart from this, Nuwanidu Fernando scored 44 and Anjala Bandara scored 42 runs.
