When a new member arrives in the house of actors in the film industry, fans start considering him or her as a ‘lucky charm’. But actor Rajkumar Rao has a different thinking on this. Rajkumar, who recently became a father, openly expressed his views on this belief in an interview given to IANS and said that he does not associate his daughter’s birth with any kind of luck.
When IANS asked Rajkummar Rao whether there was a new turn in his life after the birth of his daughter, he replied, ‘My daughter has brought a lot of love in my life, but I do not believe that the reason for my success is only my daughter. I believe that whatever we achieve in life is the result of hard work, time and luck.
Rajkumar Rao does not consider his daughter as ‘lucky charm’
Rajkumar further said, ‘I do not want to put any kind of pressure on my daughter. My daughter is still very young and will have a separate life of her own. She will make her own life and take her own decisions. In such a situation, placing hopes on him that he will prove to be ‘lucky’ for the family is not right. Children should have the freedom to create their own identity without any burden.

During this conversation, Rajkumar also mentioned a special coincidence. He told that on the same day his daughter was born, his wife Patralekha had received the Best Actress Award for her film ‘Phule’. This was a very special moment for the family, because on one hand there was new happiness in the house and on the other hand there was a big achievement in professional life also.
Rajkumar said, ‘After the birth of my daughter, I have also received many awards, but it is just a coincidence. This is the result of all hard work. I want people not to give much importance to such things and look at success from the perspective of hard work.
