Ganguly becomes the ‘insurance’ of Team India! Dada’s new role, big announcement on ZIM tour

IND vs ZIM: Former captain of Team India Sourav Ganguly is now going to be seen in a new role. In fact, ‘InsuranceDekho’ has become the broadcaster sponsor for the India-Zimbabwe series starting from July 23 and Sourav Ganguly has been made its brand ambassador. After this series, ‘InsuranceDekho’ has also been made the on-ground title sponsor for India’s two test match tour with Sri Lanka in August.
India will play three T20 matches against Zimbabwe.
New Delhi: ‘InsuranceDekho’ will be the on-air broadcaster sponsor of India’s tour of Zimbabwe starting on Thursday and former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly will be its brand ambassador. Three T20 international matches will be played in this tour.
Insurancetech platform InsuranceDekho will also be the ‘on-ground’ title sponsor for India’s two-Test tour with Sri Lanka in August. This series will be known as ‘InsuranceDekho Cup’.
Ganguly said in a statement, ‘As a captain, I have learned that the team plays fearlessly only when it knows that someone stands with it. InsuranceDekho does the same for its advisors, families and now for Team India. I am proud that the message of ‘India, play freely’ will remain with the team on these tours.
After the three-match T20 International series in Zimbabwe, India will have a tour of Sri Lanka (Test series), which will start from August 15.
India’s squad: Shreyas Iyer (captain), Tilak Verma, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Shivam Dubey, Suryansh Shedge, Rinku Singh, Harsh Dubey, Ravi Bishnoi, Prince Yadav, Yash Thakur, Ashok Sharma, Mayank Yadav and Prabhsimran Singh.
Zimbabwe squad: Sikandar Raza (captain), Brian Bennett, Ryan Burl, Tanaka Chiwanga, Ben Curran, Brad Evans, Wesley Madhewere, Tadivanashe Marumani, Wellington Masakadza, Blessing Muzarabani, Dion Myers, Richard Ngarawa, Newman Nyamahuri, Milton Shumba, Tafadzwa Tsiga.
