Neet Protest Shubman Gill: Indian Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill has appealed to the youth of the country to speak peacefully through his Instagram story. Amid the NEET question paper leak controversy and the ongoing student agitation across the country, Gill expressed hope that the decision would be taken with sensitivity, mutual respect and keeping in mind the students’ concerns and their best interests.

New Delhi: Amid the ongoing student movement across the country, the reaction of Indian Test and ODI cricket team captain Shubman Gill has also come to light. In the NEET question paper leak case, 26 year old Gill said that the interests of the students should be given utmost importance. Also, everyone should move forward with sensitivity and mutual respect.
It is believed that this entire movement has moved forward on the shoulders of ‘Jane Ji’. In such a situation, the Indian captain himself, coming from this generation, wrote on his Instagram story that the young generation should get every opportunity to learn, dream and shape the future of the country. Gill wrote:
As a young Indian, I believe that our generation deserves every opportunity to learn, dream and create the future we all aspire to.

Respect for the youth, but talk calmly
According to Gill, he respects those youth who have chosen the path of raising their voice peacefully across the country. He said, ‘I have great respect for every youth who believes in expressing his views peacefully.’
Without mentioning any specific protest or political issue, Gill stressed the importance of education in nation building and appealed for empathy while dealing with the concerns of students. they wrote:
Education has the power to shape the future of our country. I am hopeful that we will move forward with sensitivity, mutual respect and keeping in mind the best interests of every student. For the future of India.
