Shashank Singh: A domestic servant had filed a police complaint against cricketer Shashank Singh and his retired IPS officer father, accusing them of assault, after which the police had registered a case against a total of three people. Now Shashank Singh’s first reaction to the whole matter has come to light. According to Shashank Singh, the activities of the servant were suspicious. He had come to steal on the pretext of working in the house.

Shashank described the allegations against him as completely wrong and baseless. Cricketer Shashank Singh, in his clarification while talking to news agency ANI, said:
No, we did not take him hostage… It is true that he had come as a cook, but he was not a cook at all, he did not know how to cook. He just came to have fun, take videos and photos and also entered my room… Since he was doing such things, I doubt that he came with the intention of stealing. We are very lucky that nothing has been stolen so far in the investigation… It is true that there were videos and photos of the house on his phone so my mother made him delete them because they were very personal. The police have not contacted us yet.
