Sai Kishore joined Gloucestershire: R Sai Kishore has signed with Gloucestershire for the remaining six matches of the County Championship 2026. He will be available for the team in the match against Worcestershire from 20th August. This is his second stint in county cricket. Last year, he took 11 wickets in just two matches for Surrey. The 29-year-old spinner has taken four wickets in three T20s for India, while he has 223 wickets to his name in first class cricket. He has not got a chance in Team India since 2023. In IPL 2026, he played three matches for Gujarat Titans.
Sai Kishore will be seen playing in the County Championship.
New Delhi. India’s left-arm spinner R Sai Kishore is associated with Gloucestershire. Sai Kishore has signed a contract for 6 matches with Gloucestershire for the remaining matches of the County Championship season. This will be Sai Kishore’s second stint in county cricket. Last year, this spinner had taken 11 wickets in 2 matches for Surrey. He will be available from the match against Worcestershire in Cheltenham on 20 August.
Former England women’s team coach Lewis said, “We are very excited to add Sai Kishore to the squad. He is an experienced cricketer who will add great strength to our team. The club is fully committed to playing better cricket in the last six matches of the County Championship, and it will be really interesting to see what impact a foreign spinner makes at this stage of the season. The conditions are often very favorable for spin bowling at this time of the year.
