The Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine, under the Ministry of AYUSH, has issued recruitment notification for a total of 179 posts of Group-A, Group-B and Group-C. Under this recruitment, appointments will be made on many posts including Research Officer, Staff Nurse, Pharmacist, Clerk, Driver, MTS.
Recruitment on Group-A posts
CCRUM has invited applications for a total of 19 posts in Group-A category. Among these, maximum 16 posts are of Research Officer (Unani). Apart from this, 2 posts of Research Officer (Pathology) and 1 post of Research Officer (Physiology) are included.
Group-B posts
Recruitment will be done on many technical and administrative posts in Group-B category. These include 1 post of Assistant Research Officer (Pharmacology), 2 posts of Assistant Research Officer (Pharmacognosy/Botany), 7 posts of Staff Nurse, 1 post of Accounts Officer and various posts of Research Assistant. Apart from this, 12 posts of Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT), 3 posts of Library and Information Assistant, 3 posts of Investigator (Statistics). And 1 post of proof reader will also be filled.
Maximum opportunities in Group-C
Most of the posts will be recruited in Group-C category. This includes 2 posts of Hindi Assistant, 6 posts of Pharmacist, 2 posts of Social Worker, 1 post of Radiographer and 3 posts of Compounder. Apart from this, recruitment will be done on 7 posts of Stenographer Grade-III, 31 posts of Upper Division Clerk (UDC), 26 posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), 4 posts of Staff Car Driver and 43 posts of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS). Due to the highest number of posts for MTS and Clerk, a large number of candidates are likely to get the opportunity.

What will be the selection process?
Under the recruitment process, candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Examination (CBT), Interview and Document Verification. Candidates who are successful in all the stages will be provided final appointment. However, there may be post-wise changes in the selection process for some posts, detailed information of which will be available in the official notification.
When to apply?
Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply online by visiting the official website of CCRUM. The application process will start from July 1, 2026, while the last date to apply has been fixed as July 31, 2026. Candidates will be able to apply only through online medium.
