ETPL had sought registrations from eligible players affiliated with Cricket Ireland, Cricket Scotland and Netherlands Cricket Board, after which hundreds of local and international players have tried their luck in the draft pool.

After a rigorous evaluation process, a final shortlist of players has been prepared. During this draft to be held in a total of six rounds, all six franchises will complete their final squad by selecting players according to their respective strategies. A maximum of 12 players from each of the three cricket boards (Ireland, Scotland, and Netherlands) can be selected by the franchise.
