Fast bowler Prince Yadav got injured in the second match while bowling. He felt problem in the muscles of his left leg while bowling, after which he left the ground with the physio. Even after winning the series by registering a spectacular 90-run win in the second T20 against Zimbabwe, lines of concern have been drawn in the Indian camp.

Prince Yadav was bowling in excellent rhythm in the match and had taken two wickets in his opening spell itself. However, he suffered a muscle strain while bowling the second ball of his second over. Struggling with pain, Prince had to immediately leave the field and could not bowl further. After the match, Indian captain Shreyas Iyer gave an update on Prince’s injury and said, ‘Unfortunately one of our players is injured. Due to Prince’s injury, we may have to make some changes in the team composition in the third match to be played on Sunday.

Talking about the match, India had scored a huge score of 219 runs for 5 wickets due to the explosive innings of Ishan Kishan (81) and Tilak Verma (60 not out). In response, the entire Zimbabwe team collapsed for just 129 runs in 17.5 overs. India won this match by 90 runs and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
