If you are dreaming of studying in Delhi Technological University (DTU), then this is a good opportunity for you. The university has started admissions to many undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the new academic session 2026-27. The last date of application, eligibility and admission process for different courses has also been decided. In such a situation, it is important to apply on time.
Admission is available in these courses
This year DTU is offering admission in many courses like BTech, BBA, BA (Hons) Economics, BDes, MTech, MBA, Executive MBA, MSc, MDes and PhD. Different entrance exams and eligibility have been prescribed for each course. Therefore, before applying, please check the conditions of your course.
JAC Delhi’s fourth round of seat allotment for BTech admission will be released on July 14, 2026, while the upgradation round will be held on July 21. The last date of application for Executive MBA is 12th July. Applications for BBA can be made till 14th July. Final admissions in MBA will be completed by 7th August and in BBA by 18th August 2026.
Which exam is required for which course
Admission in BTech will be done on the basis of JEE Main. CUET UG score is necessary for BBA and BA (Hons) Economics. Admission in MBA will be given on the basis of CAT or MAT score. Whereas GATE will be valid for MTech, CUET PG for MSc and UCEED score will be valid for BDes.
what should be the qualification
To apply for BTech, one must have at least 60 percent marks in 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Maths. For BBA and BA (Hons) Economics, 50 percent marks in 12th and English subject is required. For MBA, one must have graduation from any recognized university. Relaxation in marks has also been given for different reserved categories as per rules.
how much is the fee
The total fees for BTech is around Rs 11.85 lakh. The fees for BBA and BA (Hons) Economics has been kept at around Rs 5.32 lakh. The total fee for MBA is around Rs 6.20 lakh and the fee for MTech is around Rs 2.58 lakh. There may be difference in fees according to different courses.

Keep these documents ready at the time of admission
Candidates should have 10th and 12th marksheet, entrance exam scorecard, graduation marksheet (for PG courses), Aadhar card or other photo ID, passport size photograph, transfer or migration certificate and reservation certificate (if applicable).

SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, PwD and other reserved category candidates will be given reservation in seats in the university as per the government rules. Therefore, while applying, carry all the necessary certificates related to the correct category.

Deserving students studying in DTU also get the benefit of many government and university level scholarships. These include different schemes for SC, ST, OBC, minority and meritorious students. Eligible students can avail the benefits of these schemes after application.
Application will be like this
BTech candidates will have to first appear for JEE Main and then register on the JAC Delhi portal. For BBA and MBA one has to apply on CMAC portal. MTech candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of DTU. During the application, they will have to upload the necessary documents and deposit the prescribed fees. After this, the admission will be completed through merit list, counseling and document verification.
