Ability
Candidates applying for Assistant Executive posts must have B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or institute. Along with this, the candidate should have minimum 40 percent marks.
age limit
The maximum age limit of the candidates for this recruitment has been fixed at 35 years. Age will be calculated as per the date decided by NTPC. Reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per government rules.
application fee
The application fee for NTPC Recruitment 2026 has been fixed differently according to the categories. Candidates belonging to General Category, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Other Backward Class (OBC) will have to deposit an application fee of Rs 500. Whereas Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Disabled (PwBD), Ex-Servicemen and women candidates are completely exempted from the application fee.
