Claude AI: Anthropic, which is growing rapidly in the world of Artificial Intelligence, has introduced a new and very interesting feature for its AI chatbot Claude. With the help of this feature, Claude will not only talk to you but will also be able to complete your work by controlling your computer himself.
Claude will now handle your computer himself
According to the company, this new feature is part of the Computer Use capability, which gives Claude the power to work directly on the user's PC. This means that now you will not need to do every small and big thing yourself, Claude can open apps for you, run the browser and complete many digital tasks on its own. Currently, it has been launched as a research preview which can be used through tools like Claude Code and Claude Cowork.
How does this new AI feature work?
This feature is based on a special type of “Agent AI” technology. This means that AI is not limited to just following instructions, but can also take decisions and work on its own.
During this, Claude uses a virtual keyboard and mouse, just like a human uses a computer. Also, it can understand the content visible on the screen through screenshots and take further action accordingly.
What tasks can Claude do?
With this new ability, Claude can do many types of work easily. Like opening apps, navigating websites, working on spreadsheets and documents, etc. If there are already connected apps for any task, like Slack or Calendar, Claude will use those. But if needed, it can also open old (legacy) apps with your permission and work in them.
This technology is not completely perfect yet
Although this feature is quite advanced, it is still in its initial stage. The company's experts believe that at present its speed may be slightly less than that of humans. But in the coming time it will be improved and both its capacity and speed will increase.
