For Saif Ali Khan, cricket is not just a hobby, but an important part of his identity. His father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, known as ‘Tiger’, was one of India’s great captains. He took over the captaincy at the age of just 21 and changed India’s style of playing abroad. The special thing is that he achieved all this even after losing the eyesight of one eye. This legacy of cricket goes back further than this. His grandfather Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi played Test cricket for both England and India. He also captained the Indian team on the 1946 tour of England, an achievement that very few people have.
