What is the first thing to do after the result?

Through this process, seats are allotted in other medical courses including MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS. Seat allotment is entirely based on the candidate’s NEET rank, category, reservation rules and college preference in the course.

Who does NEET counselling?

NEET UG counseling is conducted at two levels. Counseling for 15 percent India quota is done by the Medical Counseling Committee. Under this, the admission process is also completed for the seats of AIIMS, JIPMER, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Deemed University, ESIC and other national institutions. Whereas 85 percent counseling of state quota is done by the counseling agencies of the respective states. Admission to most of the seats in state government medical colleges is done through this process.

Counseling takes place in how many stages?

NEET UG 2026 counseling is likely to be conducted in four phases. This will include round one, round two, mop up round and stray vacancy round.
