Bhopal: A new twist has come in the assault case registered by IPL team Punjab Kings cricketer Shashank Singh against his father and driver. Shashank Singh has rejected the allegations against him, his father and the driver. He said that no one was assaulted by his family. Shashank has claimed that the complaining employee was taking private pictures and videos inside his house without permission, due to which he was stopped.

While talking to news agency ANI, Shashank Singh said, we did not take him hostage. It is true that he came to our house calling himself a cook, but he did not know how to cook. He was just having fun, making videos and photos inside the house, and even went into my room.

There were personal photos and videos in his phone.
Shashank said that the person was taking photos and videos in the house. Seeing his actions I felt that he had come with the intention of stealing. We are very fortunate that the investigation so far has not revealed any theft. Many pictures and videos inside the complainant’s house were found in his mobile phone. These were personal photos, so his mother asked him to delete them immediately. Shashank told that the police has not contacted us yet. When we caught the person taking photos and videos, my sister suggested calling 100. But she begged, and I let her go.

Police started investigating the case
Meanwhile, Additional DCP (Zone-1) Rashmi Aggarwal Dubey said that based on the complaint of assault, an FIR has been registered at Ratibad police station. He said that an FIR was registered on the basis of the complaint received yesterday at Ratibad police station regarding the incident of assault. Three people have been made accused in this case. These include Shailesh Singh, his son and his driver. The name of his son (cricketer Shashank Singh) is also mentioned in the FIR. ADCP said that medical test of the complainant has been done and further action will be taken on the basis of the medical report. Overall, it does not appear that this incident involved any serious assault.
