Thousands of stories are made every year in the world of competitive examinations, but there are some names who create a distinct identity with their hard work. One such name has appeared in the results of JEE Main Session-1. This time Kabir Chhillar scored 300 marks out of 300 and directly got All India Rank-1. It is not just numbers, but the result of continuous hard work, clear thinking and studying in the right way.
Kabir, born on 30 July 2008, is originally from Gurugram. There was always an atmosphere of study in the family. Father Mohit Chillar has studied from IIT and works in a private company. Mother Priyanka Chhillar is a teacher in a private school. There was both discipline and understanding regarding studies at home. This environment became a strong base for Kabir.
Kabir had earlier secured 98 percent marks in class 10th. Only then it became clear that he does not limit his studies to exams only, but believes in understanding the subject. He adopted the same method while preparing for JEE Main.
Different way of studying becomes strength
Kabir believes that it is not necessary to have long study time, but attention and quality are more important. During self-study, he ensured that what he was studying was completely understood. After every test, he would sit down and analyze for himself where the mistake happened, why it happened, and how to correct it.

He used to give regular mock tests. But it was his habit not only to give tests but also to analyze each paper in depth. Due to this, both his accuracy and time management improved. Kabir says that it is more important to have a clear concept than memorizing. Understanding every topic and applying it in questions was his biggest strength.
Small goals, regular revision
Kabir divided his studies into small targets. Make short notes so that revision can be done quickly. Regular repetition was part of his daily routine. They say that real preparation is to avoid repeating mistakes. Therefore, after every test, he used to pay more attention to his weaknesses. Along with studies, they also consider it important to spend time with friends. He believes that staying mentally fresh is also an important part of success. Kabir did not give session-2 of JEE Main. After topping with a perfect score in Session-1 itself, he focused on further preparations.
Family support, clear goal
Family has a big contribution in this success of Kabir. Father’s technical background and mother’s teaching experience both gave him the right direction. There was no pressure regarding studies at home, but an atmosphere of understanding and cooperation. Kabir’s goal regarding the future is also clear. He wants to do B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Mumbai. After this he dreams of further studies from the world famous institute MIT.
