Airtel has made a slight change in the price of one of its popular recharge plans. The plan which was earlier available for Rs 859 has now been increased to Rs 899. The company has not given any official reason for this increase but it is believed that this step has been taken to improve the earnings per user (ARPU). However, this change is not very big and seems to be limited to only one plan, hence its impact will not be too heavy on the pockets of common users.
If we talk about benefits, no changes have been made in this plan. In this plan of Rs 899, truly unlimited facility will continue to be available as before. Users will get the benefit of unlimited calling on local, STD and roaming, along with 100 SMS per day and 1.5GB high-speed data per day. The validity of this plan is 84 days. After the daily data is exhausted, the internet speed will reduce to 64 Kbps.
