If you want to work in a central government institution, then there is good news for you. Inter-University Accelerator Center (IUAC), New Delhi, an autonomous institute of the University Grants Commission (UGC) under the Ministry of Education, has issued a notification for recruitment to many posts including Scientist, Junior Engineer (JE) and Library Assistant. A total of 8 vacant posts will be filled through this recruitment. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online till 4 August 2026.

Who can apply?
Different educational qualifications have been fixed for each post. For the post of Scientist-C, the candidate should have M.Sc. degree in Physics or Applied Physics. Also, it is necessary to have at least 60 percent marks from 10th to higher education. The maximum age limit has been fixed at 26 years.
Diploma in Electronics is mandatory for the post of Junior Engineer-C. The candidate should have at least 60 percent marks in 10th. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in relevant field and computer knowledge. Maximum age limit is 30 years.
For the post of Library Assistant-C, B.Lib with B.Sc. Degree and at least four years experience in computerized library is required. The maximum age for this post has been kept at 34 years.
How much salary will you get?
Selected candidates will get attractive salary as per the Seventh Pay Commission.
Scientist-C: Rs 56,100 under Level-10
Rs 1,77,500 per month
Junior Engineer-C: Under Level-6 ₹
35,400 to 1,12,400 per month
Library Assistant-C: 35,400 to 1,12,400 per month under Level-6
What will be the selection process?
The recruitment process will vary according to the post.
For Scientist-C, first there will be a written examination, after which an interview will be conducted.
For Junior Engineer-C and Library Assistant-C, skill test or trade test will be conducted after the written examination.
The final merit will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidate.

After this, the application will have to be submitted by uploading the necessary documents, photo and signature. If application fee is applicable for any post, it will also have to be paid online.
