New Delhi: The first trade deal for the Indian Premier League 2027 has been finalized. Wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant, who played two seasons for Lucknow Supergiants, is back in Delhi Capitals. Whereas, Kuldeep Yadav from Delhi Capitals will go to Lucknow Supergiants. Pant has suffered a loss of Rs 12 crore in this deal.
In fact, in the mega auction held for IPL 2025, LSG bought Pant with a bid of Rs 27 crore and also made him the captain, which was the biggest amount so far in the history of the league. But under Pant’s captaincy, Lucknow could not reach the playoffs in both the seasons. In such a situation, the franchise has got rid of Pant. Talking about Kuldeep, Lucknow has adopted him for Rs 13.5 crore, while Rishabh Pant’s salary for IPL 2027 has now become Rs 15 crore.
