IPL 2026 Second Phase Schedule: The second phase of IPL 2026 will start from 13th April and end on 24th May and thus the group round will be completely over. The first phase will run from March 28 to April 12, with defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad meeting in the opening match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday. The final will be held on 31 May.
Schedule of second stage of IPL 2026 announced
New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also announced the schedule of the second stage of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. The remaining 50 matches of the group stage will be played from 13 April to 24 May 2026 at 12 places in India. The second round matches will be held in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Dharamshala, Raipur and New Chandigarh. At present the date and venue of the playoff has not been announced.
As the tournament reaches the crucial juncture, teams will compete on different grounds to make it to the playoffs. Rajasthan Royals will play four home matches in Jaipur, while Royal Challengers Bangalore will play three home matches in Bengaluru and two in Raipur.
