India cricket schedule 2026: The Indian team has to play many T20 matches this year between July and December. In such a situation, Vaibhav Suryavanshi will get many matches to make his international debut. If no untoward incident happens and no injury prevents Vaibhav, he will definitely break many records by the end of the year.
How many T20 matches will Vaibhav get, schedule from July to December
New Delhi. Everyone was expecting the debut of Indian team’s young opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi against Ireland. Coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Shreyas Iyer did not include him in the playing eleven in the two-match series. Due to this his international debut was postponed. India will play in the T20 series from July 1 on the tour of England. Here he may get a chance to play his first match for India in 5 matches. However, if he is not able to debut here too, there will be opportunities after this also. We are sharing with you the list of T20 matches of India in 2026.
Team India will play T20 series with England, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, West Indies and Sri Lanka between July and December. The team also has to play ODIs with some of these teams but Vaibhav is currently only a part of the T20 team. His selectors have given him a place in the Asian Games team. Therefore, he can not only get a chance to play in bilateral series for India but will also participate in multi-national tournaments.
India tour of England
Currently the Indian team is on the tour of England. 5 T20 International (T20I) matches will be played here.

7 July (Nottingham)
9 July (Bristol)
11 July (Southampton)
After playing in England, India has to play 3 T20 matches against Zimbabwe. These matches will be held between 23 to 26 July. Along with the ODI series, 2 T20 matches are to be played with Sri Lanka in August. Afghanistan will once again come to India in September and play 3 T20Is. 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is are to be played against West Indies between September and October. Asian Games (19 September – 4 October) Cricket will return in the Asian Games to be held in Japan.
New Zealand tour (October – November)
India will tour New Zealand at the end of the year. A series of 5 T20I matches will be played here also. New Zealand conditions will be a big test for the Indian batsmen.
Sri Lanka tour of India (December)
The year will end in India when the Sri Lankan team will tour to play 3 T20Is.
