New Delhi. Bangladesh players have got NOC to play in Pakistan Super League 2026 (PSL). Earlier, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had declared government approval mandatory for players to play in PSL. This statement came from BCB in view of the safety of the players. Bangladesh's Minister of State for Youth and Sports Aminul Haq had said on Sunday that if there were any concerns about security, players would not participate in the PSL. Just hours after this announcement, four Bangladeshi cricketers left for Pakistan. It was considered that the cricketers were traveling at their own risk.
Clarifying the situation on the cricketers' visit to Pakistan for the PSL, the top government official said, “We discussed the situation in Pakistan with the Ministry of External Affairs and then they contacted our High Commission in Islamabad. After getting assurance of security from there, we allowed the cricketers to play the PSL.”

According to a report, according to the letter sent by Bangladesh High Commission from Pakistan to Bangladesh Government, both Pakistan and Afghanistan have announced ceasefire before Eid-ul-Azha. This ceasefire will last for some time. Lahore and Karachi have been selected for PSL matches, which are quite safe. Pakistan Cricket Control Board has announced to organize PSL without spectators. The concerned authorities of Pakistan are committed to protecting the cricketers.
It is further written in the letter that in view of these circumstances, it is recommended that Bangladeshi cricketers can play in PSL. Let us tell you that Bangladesh Cricket Board had earlier issued 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC) to six players – Mustafizur Rahman, Parvez Hossain Imon, Shoriful Islam, Nahid Rana, Tanjid Hasan Tamim and Rishad Hossain for this tournament to be held from March 26 to May 3. All the players are part of different franchises in the league.
