The sword of ban hangs on Shaheen Afridi, Fakhar Zaman.
Lahore. Pakistan batsman Fakhar Zaman, fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi and Zimbabwe's Sikandar Raza have rejected allegations of ball tampering in the Pakistan Super League match between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings. Fakhar, 35, was found guilty of a level three offense under Section 2.14 of the PSL Code of Conduct for Players and Staff by match referee Roshan Mahanama. Zaman was found to have violated Article 41.3 of the PSL, which prohibits any action that alters the position of the ball.
Appearing before the former Sri Lankan cricketer, Fakhar denied the allegations against him. This allegation happened before the last over of Karachi Kings' innings, when they needed 14 runs to win. Fakhar was seen talking to Haris Rauf and Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi. After this, umpire Faisal Afridi asked for the ball and after examining it he found that it had been tampered with. The match referee will give the decision after hearing again in the next 48 hours.

The entire team may get punished
The umpire fined Lahore Qalandars five runs for ball tampering, due to which Karachi needed only nine runs in the last over, which they scored. If the match referee confirms that the ball was tampered with, then Fakhar and perhaps the entire Lahore Qalandars team may face serious punishment. Afridi said on Monday that he did not know anything about the condition of the ball being changed. He said, 'I don't know whether the condition of the ball had changed or not. But it was disappointing to see the decision of the umpires.
Afridi will also appear before match referee Mahanama for a disciplinary hearing in Lahore. Similarly, Raza also denied any knowledge about the ball being tampered with. Action is already being taken against him for breaking the security rules of PSL by inviting his relatives to the room in the team hotel on Saturday. He said in the press conference after the match, 'I don't know whether the ball was tampered with or who did it. I have no knowledge about this.
