For admission to IIMC, one has to appear for Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG) or IIMC’s own entrance exam, in which questions related to General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Reasoning and Language are asked. Whereas in Jamia Millia Islamia, university level entrance test is taken for BJMC and MJMC courses, in which the focus is on media, general awareness and language skills. Also, in Delhi University, admission is available for most of the journalism and mass communication courses through CUET UG or PG. Apart from this, selection in Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is also done on the basis of CUET score.
