There has been a discussion going on for a long time about making a biopic on Bollywood’s veteran actress Madhubala. Till now many news have come in which it has been said that Sharvari Wagh or Aneet Padda can play this character. After all the speculations, now the name of ‘Dhurandhar’ actress Sara Arjun has been confirmed for Madhubala’s biopic.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali will produce the film
According to the report of Variety India, the makers have finalized Sara Arjun for the biopic of ‘Madhubala’. The production of this upcoming biopic film is going to start from July 2026. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is associated with this project as a producer, while Jasmeet K. Reen will be the director of this biopic. Jasmeet made his directorial debut with Alia Bhatt’s film ‘Darlings’ (2022). She was working on this project for a long time, but it was stopped due to lack of budget. Now this biopic is back on track.

Sara Arjun started work
Sara Arjun has made some changes in her look for this film. He has started working for the role of Madhubala. At the same time, casting is going on for other roles like Dilip Kumar and Kishore Kumar. There is also news that this film will be streamed on a simple digital platform instead of theatres. At present there has been no official announcement from the makers.
