Delhi University PG Admission 2026: Delhi University has changed the time-table of the third round of PG admission for the 2026-27 session. The university released a new calendar on its admission portal on Saturday, July 12, in which new dates for seat acceptance, document verification and fee deposit have been mentioned. This change was made because the work of allocation of supernumerary seats under CW, Sports and Ward quota could not be completed on time. Therefore, as per the new timetable, the candidates who have been allotted seats in the third round will have to accept their seats through the admission portal by 11:59 pm on July 13, 2026.

After accepting the seats, the concerned departments, centers and colleges will scrutinize and approve those applications, this process will continue till 11:59 pm on July 14. Candidates whose admission will be approved will have to finally confirm their admission by paying the fees online by 11:59 pm on 15th July. The university has asked all the selected candidates to follow these new dates carefully, so that their admission process can be completed without any hindrance.

Possibility of more rounds ahead

The university has also clarified that after the completion of the third round, if some seats still remain vacant, then further rounds can be started for postgraduate seat allocation. This entire change has been made so that the admission process under all categories runs in coordination and no eligible candidate faces any loss due to this. That is why the university has advised all the candidates to keep checking the official admission portal of DU regularly, so that they get timely information related to vacant seats, upcoming allocation rounds and counselling.
